Dr. Christine Mary Dunford is a cultural anthropologist and theatre artist. She has been an ensemble member with Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company since 1989, where she has been an actor, writer and director. She was a founding teaching artist with the Chicago Arts Partners in Education (CAPE) program, and helped build Lookingglass's education and community outreach program. Dr. Dunford received her PhD in performance studies from Northwestern University, where she focused on the politics and meanings of urban nature discourses and practices.
